Do You Have Bad Back Pain?

Here are a few tips to help you ease your back pain.

Apply ice and heat to your back. If you feel that you are having back pain, if within the first 48 hours, just use ice. Set an ice pack on the area for 10 minutes, take it off for 10, and then repeat that process 2 more times. If after 48 hours the pain still exists, then switch use 10 minutes of a hot compress and 10 minutes of an ice compress. The pain will dramatically ease away by doing this.

Stretching your muscles can help alleviate pain. The main reason most have back pain is tight muscles. Stretching is ideal for relieving tension in muscles. But stretch the muscle gently. If you stretch hard, it won’t help ease any tension. You should only stretch to the point where your muscle feels tight not painful. If you stretch to far then the muscle will tighten immediately after you stop doing the stretch. Being gentle is key!

Make your back muscles stronger. Where there is a very tight muscle, you will find an opposite weak one. If you only stretch the tight muscles, you aren’t going to rebalance it. You will need to improve the nerve and blood flow to the weak muscles.
